How much is the book?
The price per book is Php1,250. You will need to pay this PLUS the shipping fee upon checkout. Incorrect payment and delivery information will not be counted towards the first 300 (handwritten letters).
When is the pre-order?
The pre-order period runs from January 15 to March 31, 2024. No extension. No second batch until further notice.
What is "pre-order"?

order (an item of merchandise) before it is available, with the understanding that it will be shipped later.
TOS books will be mass-produced after the end of the pre-order period when all the sales are in.
When is the delivery of the book?
Based on our projected sales, the books are expected to be printed 2-3 months after the end of the pre-order period. It will then be quality-checked and signed by the author after which will be delivered to your doorstep. The expected delivery period is around July 2024.
Are the books signed by Ventre Canard?
Yes. All books will be signed by our dear author but only for all orders from 12NN to 11:59PM of January 15 will receive the personalized dedication. The rest will be signature only.

How will the first 300 be counted?
This will be counted per fully paid book order of up to 5 copies on a first order & payment, first served basis based on the timestamp on when the readers filled out the form. Meaning, that if one reader ordered 10 copies in a single transaction, only 5 copies would be counted as part of the first 300 (handwritten letters). Review your information and payment. Incorrect information and wrong payments will not be counted.
When will we know if we're included in the first 200? How can we give the name for the personalized dedication?
Please be reminded that our order number is system-generated and it is not in order. The first 300 will be emailed on or before January 22. You will then be asked by our team for the name on the dedication. Make sure to input your active email address correctly. Always check your email, spam, and promotions folder.
How to pay?
VentreCanard's self-published book will be exclusively offered on this website. You can conveniently add it to your cart and proceed to checkout. You will be directed to accessible payment channels, including Gcash, Unionbank, Instapay QR, and PesoNet. Unfortunately, the payment methods at the bottom of the website are not entirely available. Can I pay in installment?
Yes. We are allowing a 2-installment payment but only through Gcash payment channel.
Non-refundable downpayment of either Php 750 for LBC Door-to-Door Orders or Php 700 for LBC Branch Pickup Orders to be paid as you fill out the form.
The remaining balance is to be settled on or before March 31, 2024.
Failure to settle the remaining balance will result in cancellation of orders but payments will not be refunded.
Please note though that to be fair for the full payers, the only freebies for the installment payers are:
Bookmark, Postcard, and Button Pin.
If I choose installment, how can I pay for my balance?
You will receive an email from us using ventrcanardbooks@gmail.com (no e) with the link on how you will pay your balance.
Will we receive an order and payment confirmation via email once we are done purchasing?
Yes. Since you will be paying directly through our available payment channels, you will need to pay as soon as you check out. Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an email.
How will I know if my order is for delivery?
Stay tuned to Ventre Canard's Book Town for updates! Once the books have been dispatched, you will receive an email.
Do you accept international orders?
Yes. We accept international orders. For international orders, please send a direct message to Ventre Canard’s Book Town Facebook Page. Our team will get back to you with the info we need as well as the international shipping fee estimate. Should the final shipping fee be higher at the time of dispatch, you will be asked to add the balance before we proceed with the shipping. On the other hand, if the final shipping fee is lower, you will get a refund. The freebies for international buyers are Armstrong Freebies.
How much is the Local Shipping Rates?
The shipping fee is Php 200 for LBC Branch Pickup and Php 250 for LBC Door-To-Door. Since the book will be bigger and heavier than usual, we are implementing a 1 book is to 1 shipping rate. Shipping rates will be shouldered by the buyer on top of the book-selling price. Please take note that the shipping rates include the packaging fee and the shipping fee.
Can I use Lalamove to have my order be delivered?
We will only allow Lalamove delivery if you purchase at least 5 copies. Lalamove fee will be shouldered by the buyer on top of the book-selling price. The amount of the Lalamove fee will be paid by the buyer at the time of dispatch. At the time of purchase, you will be asked to pay Php 20 handling and packaging fee per book. So for example, if you purchase 5 books and you opt to have it Lalamove-d, you will be asked to pay Php 100 upon checkout.
Do you accept other modes of delivery like Grab, Toktok, AP Cargo, etc?
No. We will only use Lalamove or Grab for bulk orders, LBC, or our own delivery car for nearby cities for branch pick-up and Door-To-Door. More details to come here on the dispatch period.
Can I cancel my order?
No cancellation of orders. But for those with balances, failure to settle the remaining balance will result in the cancellation of orders but payments will not be refunded.
